Reminder: "praying effectively" involves knowing God's will. When we pray in His will (in His name), He may choose to not answer those prayers in the time period that we would like, or HOW we would like - but He will answer those prayers!
It is God's will: that we are not deceived into serving and worshiping other gods
Today's prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, guide us to a deeper knowledge of You, so that our relationship with You may only grow more confident. Help us to know You so well, that we will not be deceived into following other gods of other religions.
Guide our pastors to clearly and succinctly teach Your truths, so that we may all grow in spiritual strength and faithfulness. Keep us from temptation and keep us steadfast in Your word. Amen.
