Reminder: "praying effectively" involves knowing God's will. When we pray in His will (in His name), He may choose to not answer those prayers in the time period that we would like, or HOW we would like - but He will answer those prayers!
It is God's will: that we ascribe greatness to the Lord our God
Today's prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, You ARE great!!! You make no mistakes. But we do!!! And yet, You still are faithful. And just in the above two verses, I'm overwhelmed with examples of what You have done for me.
Because we are born sinners, we could never approach You on our own merits - because You are just. Yet You still want each and every one of us to be a child of God so You made that possible by dying and paying for all sin. All the while - remaining perfect! Your ways are perfect! Thank You for Your great love for us!!! Amen.
