Reminder: "praying effectively" involves knowing God's will. When we pray in His will (in His name), He may choose to not answer those prayers in the time period that we would like, or HOW we would like - but He will answer those prayers!
It is God's will: that we put our hope in God (42:11, 43:5)

Dear Lord Jesus, I am so thankful that You are worthy of a hope that is way beyond wishful thinking. We can have a hope in You that is steadfast and unwavering, no matter what we are going through. We can have a hope based on Your word, Your truth and Your mighty deeds. Help those who are struggling with doubt to open their spiritual eyes and ears in order to sense Your presence. Help all Your children desire to continually seek You out an remain steadfast. Amen.
