eschatology, Serving in the Millennium (1 Cor.6)

This devotion is fairly short and to the point - - - Christians who are raptured or have died, will serve in the Millennial kingdom...

(1 Corinthians 6:1-3)  Does any one of you, when he has a case against his neighbor, dare to go to law before the unrighteous and not before the saints? Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? If the world is judged by you, are you not competent to constitute the smallest law courts? Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life?

So if Christians are going to help judge the world in another age - then in this age, we SHOULD be able to (at the very least) discern for ourselves how to live in unity with our brothers and sisters in Christ and sort out any disagreements among ourselves...

(1 Corinthians 6:4-11)  So if you have law courts dealing with matters of this life, do you appoint them as judges who are of no account in the church? I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not among you one wise man who will be able to decide between his brethren, but brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers?
Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded? On the contrary, you yourselves wrong and defraud. You do this even to your brethren.
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

Today's takeaway:  the list of sins is not comprehensive!  And not one sin is worse than the other.  The point is that if anyone has sin - they cannot enter heaven.  The only way into heaven is to be perfect.  The only way we can be perfect is if we have been saved through Jesus, who then sanctifies us (sets us apart from the world), and justifies us (becomes righteousness for us).   And the evidence of this is that we will love one another and practice righteousness!...

(Isaiah 45:18-24)  For thus says the Lord, who created the heavens (He is the God who formed the earth and made it, He established it and did not create it a waste place, but formed it to be inhabited),
“I am the Lord, and there is none else.
19 I have not spoken in secret, in some dark land;  I did not say to the offspring of Jacob, Seek Me in a waste place’;  I, the Lordspeak righteousness, declaring things that are upright.
20 Gather yourselves and come;  draw near together, you fugitives of the nations;  they have no knowledge, who carry about their wooden idol and pray to a god who cannot save.
21 Declare and set forth your case;  indeed, let them consult together.  Who has announced this from of old?  Who has long since declared it?  Is it not I, the Lord?  And there is no other God besides Me, a righteous God and a Savior;  there is none except Me.
22 Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth;  for I am God, and there is no other.
23 I have sworn by Myself, the word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness and will not turn back, that to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance.
24 “They will say of Me, ‘Only in the Lord are righteousness and strength.’  Men will come to Him, and all who were angry at Him will be put to shame.
