(Matthew 11:28) “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest."
Reminder: "praying effectively" involves knowing God's will. When we pray in His will (in His name), He may choose to not answer those prayers in the time period that we would like, or HOW we would like - but He will answer those prayers!
It is God's will: that we go to God for our help (11:28)
Today's prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You! You created us, and then as an example, You rested. You created us, and You understand that we need to rest, and not just for one day a week. Help us to remember to go to You for everything, because You want to help us, and You will give us rest in all things. Help us rest in You. Help grow our faith in You. Help increase our understanding to realize that You know what You are doing - so that we can truly "rest in You"! Amen.
