JESUS, the Lord God, the Almighty (Rev.4-11)

I've put these chapters together to show the continuous theme of who God and Jesus are - and that they are One, which begins with ONE sitting on the throne...

(Revelation 4:1-2)  After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.” Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne.

The descriptions of the Trinity become very specific, although we still see the Oneness...

(Revelation 4:8-11)  And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say,
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almightywho was and who is and who is to come.”
And when the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and will worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
11 Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”

We can know that Jesus is God because the previous scripture just said that "our Lord and our God" has created all things!  And in the following scripture, it is clear that Jesus created all things...

(Colossians 1:13-20)  For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.  15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.16 For by Him all things were createdboth in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginningthe firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.  19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I saywhether things on earth or things in heaven.

Now back to the "heaven scene" in Revelation, where we see how the Lord and Christ becomes defined with a singular pronoun "He"...

(Revelation 11:15)  Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying,
The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.
Jesus reigns over everything - WHY NOT let Him reign in your personal life?  I say, "Yes, please!  Do it!!!"  And - thank you!!!
