Sing to the Lord, praise the Lord!
For He has delivered the soul of the needy one
From the hand of evildoers.
Reminder: "praying effectively" involves knowing God's will. When we pray in His will (in His name), He may choose to not answer those prayers in the time period that we would like, or HOW we would like - but He will answer those prayers!
It is God's will: that we sing praises to the Lord
Today's prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, as we go about the week, may we have songs of praises to You in our hearts and minds. Thank You for giving the gift of music to some believers, enabling them to write beautiful and awesome music in many styles to glorify You - and not just hymns - because You are the God of today! We thank You for words of encouragement, hope and inspiration. But most especially, we thank and praise You because You have conquered death so that we may come to You for eternal life!!! Amen.
