I will only show a portion of the chapter, just enough to demonstrate that when Jesus comes again at the battle of Armageddon - all His angels will be with him - AND perhaps this will include all the believers who will have been raptured and given glorified bodies...
(Zechariah 14:1-9) Behold, a day is coming for the Lord when the spoil taken from you will be divided among you. 2 For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. 3 Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. 4 In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south. 5 You will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord, my God, will come, and all the holy ones with Him!
6 In that day there will be no light; the luminaries will dwindle. 7 For it will be a unique day which is known to the Lord, neither day nor night, but it will come about that at evening time there will be light.
8 And in that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter.
9 And the Lord will be king over all the earth; in that day the Lord will be the only one, and His name the only one.
From this we see:
- the holy ones (the angels, and probably all believers who were raptured) will join Jesus at the battle of Armageddon when He comes to earth again (14:5)
Personal experience: this will be a sight which will bring a huge fear to the enemies, and a huge hope to all mankind who have put their trust in the Lord during the Tribulation. And whether we help fight or not, we will somehow be part of the Millennial kingdom.
I am always perplexed when people find Christianity "weird", yet the world so easily believes things - like - when a person dies they become ghosts or they are reincarnated - or the world was populated by aliens - or someone might discover some magic potion that will allow people to live forever - - -
Today's takeaway: except for prophecies pertaining to the end times, all prophecies of God have happened and the evidence is found in history books and excavation sites. And in the 50 years plus of being a Christian, when I follow God's will, I see the evidence for myself and in myself that God's word is truth...
(Jeremiah 32:17-27) ‘Ah Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You, 18 who shows lovingkindness to thousands, but repays the iniquity of fathers into the bosom of their children after them, O great and mighty God. The Lord of hosts is His name; 19 great in counsel and mighty in deed, whose eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, giving to everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds; 20 who has set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, and even to this day both in Israel and among mankind; and You have made a name for Yourself, as at this day. 21 You brought Your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and with wonders, and with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm and with great terror; 22 and gave them this land, which You swore to their forefathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey. 23 They came in and took possession of it, but they did not obey Your voice or walk in Your law; they have done nothing of all that You commanded them to do; therefore You have made all this calamity come upon them. 24 Behold, the siege ramps have reached the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans who fight against it, because of the sword, the famine and the pestilence; and what You have spoken has come to pass; and behold, You see it. 25 You have said to me, O Lord God, “Buy for yourself the field with money and call in witnesses”—although the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.’”
26 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying, 27 “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?”
(Isaiah 46:8-11) “Remember this, and be assured; recall it to mind, you transgressors.
9 “Remember the former things long past, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things which have not been done, saying, ‘My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;
11 Calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of [i]My purpose from a far country. Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, surely I will do it."
